A. When ordering, measure your boat from the sheer line (or from where you want the top platform located) to the desired height you want the bottom platform located. Actual heights, from top platform to bottom platform, are as shown:
            2 step 28"
            3 step 40"
            4 step 51"
            5 step 62"

B. Hinge Pads. These are fastened to the sheer of the boat using 3/8" bronze or stainless steel bolts, or leg screws, of appropriate length for your boat (3" minimum length if lags are used). These are not furnished with ladder.

C. Two solid 1" cast aluminum stubs with rubber ends are supplied longer than necessary, to be cut to your desired length upon installation.

D. The three stanchions are of 1" polished stainless steel tubing with eyes for line to go through, furnished with white manrope. These are easily removable for folding ladder flush with side of boat.

E. Recommended height of bottom platform is 10" above water or 4" above slip or dock.

F. The weight of the ladder in the usable  position is supported by 3/16" stainless steel cable to a strap eye screwed or bolted to the hull at sheer plank (or in line with top platform).

G. The ladder will fold flat against the life lines, stanchions or bulwarks by pulling with a single line. No davits required. In the folded position the ladder extends approximately 6' beyond the side of the boat.

H. The pad on the yoke which supports the top platform is faced with soft leather, to protect your boat.
